John and Linda Trinckes have been a duo for 10 years, writing original music from their home studio, with numerous albums and singles in several genres.
Their style is truly unique; many of their songs cross genres and fit in more than one. Their sound is very realistic, as though you were listening to them live; Words are clear and easy to understand. Each song originates with a poem, lyrics written by Linda. Then John composes the music inspired by the meaning of those words. That’s why it is “poetry in music”. Linda is the lead singer, often accompanied by John.
There are many Folk or Country songs, many with a sense of humor, or a sad ballad based on a true story. (Grady’s Golden Voice).
Contemporary Christian music and Christmas music fills albums of original songs by the Trinckeses. Many will be classics, like “Joseph, Do You Know”.
Love songs are another topic in which they excel. There are many beautiful love songs.
They are especially good at smooth jazz, and latin jazz. Linda’s sultry contralto voice is well suited to that genre, and John composes exceptional music in that style.
They have several great pop songs, such as “Like Sunshine After The Rain”, or “These Three Little Words”.
One of the first albums they made was about teddy bears songs written from poems Linda wrote that had been published in Teddy Bear Collector’s Magazines. She has made artist Bears for many years, since she was quite young.
Their music is streamed on all the streaming services and radio stations, and on YouTube.
